Bio
The career of Steve Isakowitz spans across industry and the US government. As an aerospace engineer graduate from MIT, he has worked in industry developing space launch vehicles and pursuing new market opportunities. In the US government, he has worked at the White House's Office of Management and Budget in charge of science and technology budgets, at NASA as the Deputy CFO and Program Executive for its new exploration projects, and at the CIA on a variety of new innovative projects in support of intelligence efforts. Most recently, he held the Senate-confirmed position as CFO for the Department of Energy and its $25 billion annual budget and was also in charge of $67 billion in government loan programs to support new innovations in energy and auto markets.
